South Haven, MI – October 8, 2024 - The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its newest member, Anchor Point Premier Vacations, where tradition and hospitality unite. Founded and operated by Mike, Melissa, and Emily Wesling, Anchor Point represents a deep-rooted passion for Lake Michigan and a desire to share the beauty of the region with visitors from near and far.

With a family history of vacationing in southwest Michigan dating back to the early 1900s, the Wesling family has cultivated countless cherished memories on the sandy shores of Lake Michigan. Anchor Point was born out of a vision to elevate the vacation rental experience, providing homeowners with peace of mind and guests with a welcoming, family-like atmosphere.

“Choosing Anchor Point means more than finding a vacation rental; it means joining a community that treats you like family,” says Mike Wesling, co-owner of Anchor Point Premier Vacations. “Our mission is to make every South Haven stay extraordinary for guests and to give homeowners peace of mind knowing their properties are cared for with the same dedication.”

In addition to providing top-tier vacation rentals, Anchor Point is committed to giving back to the South Haven community. A percentage of every reservation is donated to local charities that support area youth. Mike Wesling was instrumental in the formation of the South Haven Vacation Rental Community Fund in 2018, a collaborative effort among local homeowners to support organizations like the South Haven Boys and Girls Club, Blessings In A Backpack, and a South Haven High School scholarship. This fund also supports the winter gathering space at Dyckman Park, helping to create a vibrant community year-round.

“We’ve always felt a strong connection to South Haven, and we wanted to give back to the community that has given us so much over the years,” says Wesling.
