The Historical Association of South Haven

About Us

The Historical Association of South Haven was established in 2002 to promote an understanding and appreciation of your community's rich history through programs, events and publications. Their mission includes collecting and preserving archives of the area, as well as enhancing public support for cultural and architectural preservation. The organization resides in the historic Hartman School building and owns the South Haven South Pier Head Light and Forest House, the first hotel built in South Haven (c.1853) located at 313-315 Center St.
