Black River Barn is looking for highly motivated candidates with a friendly demeanor and a task-oriented mindset for the position of Event Staff. The Event Staff is responsible for working under the instructions of the Venue Managers, assuming the roles of support and implementation as well as providing excellent customer service.
Event Staff assists in the logistical management of corporate and private events. Their primary responsibilities include preparing the venue by setting up tables and chairs for events, assisting with the load-in for the vendors, facilitating a room flip during the events if required, and ensuring BRB is clean and organized. Moreover, Event Staff needs to constantly be on their feet and attending to the many needs of each event, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels.
Event Staff Responsibilities
· Works under the instruction of the General Manager/Assistant Manager
· Prepares the venue by setting up tables and chairs for events
· Assists with the load-in for the vendors
· Facilitates a room flip by moving tables and chairs
· Closes facility when the event is complete
· Ensures BRB is clean and organized
· Identifies potential concerns and communicate to management
· Proactively works to keep space up to BRB standards
Event Staff Requirements

· Ability to lift 50lbs
· Ability to perform under stress
Event Staff Qualifications
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Reliable transportation
· Evening, weekend, and holiday availability
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
