Job Title: Resort Assistant
Location: South Haven, MI
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: 20-27 hours per week (varies by season)

Job Summary

Want to dive into the world of hospitality? DayDreamer Domes is looking for a Resort Assistant to work directly under the Resort Manager, helping to keep things running smoothly. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same—some tasks will be routine, others will change daily. One shift, you might be organizing reservations at a desk, and the next, you could be setting up for an event or helping with property upkeep. If you’re someone who can move quickly, think on your feet, and adapt to whatever comes your way, this job is for you!

Responsibilities

• Support the Resort Manager with daily operations.
• Perform a mix of administrative, operational, and hands-on tasks, depending on the needs of the day.
• Assist with guest services, reservations, scheduling, and other office duties.
• Help with cleaning, painting, organizing, and general resort upkeep as needed.
• Ensure guest areas are well-maintained and meet high presentation standards.
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and logistics.
• Stay adaptable—some days you’ll be sitting at a computer, others you’ll be on your feet the entire shift.

Requirements

• Fast mover & quick thinker—this is a job that requires energy and adaptability.
• Willing to do it all, from admin work to hands-on tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the go.
• Comfortable with physical tasks, such as cleaning, lifting, and setting up spaces.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.
• Previous hospitality experience is helpful but not required—this is a great entry-level role!
• Must be able to relocate to South Haven, MI, before starting work (if applicable).

Schedule

• 20-27 hours per week (varies based on season).
• Some weekends required, but not every weekend—schedule provided upon hire.
• Shifts will be a mix of sitting and physical activity, depending on the day’s needs.
