Maintenance Specialist

Role Description


Beachwalk Properties in South Haven, MI, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance
Specialist for a full-time position. This role entails a mix of both outdoor and indoor work, with
some travel required. Our service area currently extends from Union Pier to Grand Haven. The
Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks including equipment maintenance,
preventive maintenance, general maintenance & repair, pool and spa service, troubleshooting, and
snow removal.


Key Responsibilities:

 

• Perform equipment maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to mitigate potential issues and extend the lifespan of
• equipment.
• Carry out maintenance and repair tasks across various systems and equipment.
• Provide pool and spa service, including routine maintenance and addressing any issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Carry out snow removal tasks to ensure safe and accessible pathways during winter.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while performing all maintenance activities.

 
Qualifications:

 

• Proficient in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Strong maintenance and repair skills, along with effective troubleshooting abilities.
• Hands-on experience in general maintenance tasks across various systems and equipment.
• Solid knowledge of building systems and tools required for maintenance activities.
• Capability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and reliability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve maintenance-related issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
