    The Michigan Maritime Museum is looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and go-getting individuals for Dockhands. This role works closely with the Commander of the Fleet to ensure the safe and smooth arrivals and departures of Museum vessels. This position would be a great opportunity for people entering the workforce who have an interest in maritime careers.
    Responsibilities include:
    -Assist with incoming and outgoing museum vessels
    -Handling dock lines
    -Keeping the dock area clean and tidy.
    -Historic and replica vessel maintenance and cleaning.
    -Answering guest questions about the Museum and On-Water Fleet.
    -Other duties as assigned.
    This is a seasonal, part-time position that runs May through September. This position requires a willingness to work weekends, weekdays, and occasional evenings and holidays.
