Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

Please join us at AL Post 49, 129 Michigan Ave, at 12 noon on 7 Dec to commemorate Pearl Harbor Day.

The ceremony honors and remembers those who lost their lives during the attack by the Japanese on the US naval base in Hawaii 81 years ago.

The American Legion Post 49 ceremony starts with a brief description of the 7 Dec day's events in 1941, followed by a moment of silence and prayer, 3-volley salute, taps and the launching a ceremonial wreath into the Black River.

Attendees are also invited to a buffet lunch starting at 1230, following the ceremony.
